Abstract

The Act establishes the Renewable electric energy target by 2030 and the Ministerial duties in order to achieve that target. Under the Act “renewable energy resource” means an energy resource that occurs naturally and that can be replenished or renewed within a human lifespan, including, but not limited to, (i) moving water, (ii) wind, (iii) heat from the earth, (iv) sunlight, and (v) sustainable biomass.
