Also the counting of reindeer and marking of animals is provided for (Chapters 3 and 4). Chapter 6 concerns the compensation of damages to forests and cultivation. Chapter 7 provides for the protection of reindeers. Various measures placing restrictions on reindeer breeding may be decided upon by the Government pursuant to section 2 of the Act relative to Protection Forests (No. 196/22).
