Abstract

These Regulations lay down requirements and restrictions relating to the use of fishing gear so as to protect seabirds from fisheries activities. They require the deployment of bird scaring lines by Hake Demersal Trawl Vessels. The Regulations set out specifications for bird scaring lines and streamers attached to bird scaring lines.
