Abstract

According to this Regulation the Ministry of Energy is allowed to receive tolls and deposit them in the treasury account in case the pollution is declared by the Environment Organization and it is not eliminated within the prescribed period. If the Ministry of Energy announces the pollution of any industrial unit, the Environment Organization in the provinces is obliged to determine the quality and amount of pollution within one month and if the standards are not established, would inform the Ministry of Energy to collect tolls. The amount of pollution shall be measured by the Ministry of Energy or Environment Organisation. Industrial units that have a wastewater treatment plant or are constructing a treatment plant or are located in industrial towns in such a way that the industrial town pays water and sewage fees, at the discretion of the Water and Sewerage Company, are exempted from paying tolls according to this Regulation. This Regulation consists of 9 Articles.
