Abstract

Sections 2 to 4, here amended, limit the application sphere of the Act with respect to food produced for private use by the producer (sect. 2), with respect to meat (sect. 3), and fish and fish products (sect. 4). Certain defintions contained in section 6 are modified. Section 11 concerns the inspection of meat of free living animals intended for domestic consumption. Section 14 makes provision for duties of notification and bookkeeping at so-called "first places of arrival", whereas section 15 defines such duties for production units. The new article (17A) concerns slaughtering of reindeers in the Uleåborg region.
