Abstract These Regulations amend the principal Regulations by adding a provision to section 27 regarding the responsibilities and functions of various authorities involved in control of fishery products; the Fish Inspection and Quality Control Division, the Co-ordinator, the Post Harvest Research, Standards and Training Unit, Inspection Units, etc. Fish inspection and pre-shipment and plant inspection for exported products are defined. The Co-ordinator shall regularly audit the activities of the inspection units and review research results of the Post Harvest Research, Standards and Training Unit.
