Abstract Section 1 defines the tasks of the Institute created by Act 1320 of 1992. The Institute shall breed plant varieties which are particularly suited for cultivation in Finland, take care that the varieties bred by are genuine, and produce and place upon the market seed for agricultural use. The Institute shall be led by a Board of Directors. (sect. 2). The remaining provisions of the Regulations define tasks of the Board and concern the internal organization of the Institute.
