Abstract

These Regulations place restrictions on the sale of fresh vegetables that do not comply with requirements laid down by these Regulations. Fresh vegetables before being placed on the market must be classified, packed, labelled and inspected as prescribed. Imported fresh vegetables shall be exempted from requirements regarding standards, grading and classification if they comply with the Codex Alementarius, UNECE or OECD standards.
