Abstract

These Regulations specify qualification criteria for and provide with respect to training for environmental management inspectors, i.e. persons designated as such by Designating Authorities under section 31 (b) and (c) of the National Environmental Management Act 1998. Persons may be designated as inspectors only if they have completed any relevant training course approved by the Director-General of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.
