Abstract

These Regulations apply to - (a) pearl millet (mahangu) flour or meal for human consumption; (b) pearl millet products for human consumption, which are commercially produced and marketed by commercial mahangu millers. They set out general quality requirements of pearl millet products and standards for moisture content. They also set production standards and establish quality classes for pearl millet flour or meal. Furthermore, they provide with respect to hygienic handling, packaging and labelling and sampling and analysis of products covered by these Regulations.
