Each batch shall be approved by the officer designated under section 2 (1) of the Agricultural Product Standards Act, 1990. The Regulations also set out the procedure for inspection and provide for assessment of the competence of testing Laboratories involved in the export of fresh cut flowers and fresh ornamental foliage and appeal against a decision or direction of an inspector.
