These Regulations enter into force on 30 October 1996.
Abstract

These Regulations are formulated in accordance with the Mine Safety Law of the People's Republic of China. The Regulations consist of 59 articles divided into 8 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Guarantees for Safety in Mine Construction (II); Guarantees for Safety in Exploitation of Mines (III); Safety Management of Mining Enterprises (IV); Supervision and Control over Safety in Mines (V); Disposition of Accidents at Mines (VI); Legal Liabilities (VII); Supplementary Provisions (VIII).
