Abstract

These Regulations are enacted pursuant to Paragraph 2 of Article 13 of the Reclaimed Water Resources Development Act. They require the construction design and supervision of water intake constructions, water treatment facilities and water supply facilities for Reclaimed Water Development Projects to be handled and certified by professional engineers (which can be professional engineers in two or more engineering categories). The responsible engineer shall submit the certification report to the Reclaimed Water Operator regarding the matters processed, and report such to the municipal or county (city) competent authority or the competent authority governing the Specific Area for reference. A record of the certification process shall be kept by the responsible engineer.
