These Regulations shall come into force as of the date of promulgation (7 May 1991).
Abstract

These Regulations are formulated in order to ensure the quality of products, facilitate international trade and promote international cooperation in quality certification. The product quality certification shall be carried out by a certification body, on the basis of the compliance of the product with the relevant standards and technical requirements.
