These Regulations enter into force on 1 May 2009.
Abstract

These Regulations are formulated for the purposes to strengthen the administration of Livestock slaughter, to standardize the Livestock slaughtering activities, to ensure the safety of the quality of Livestock products and to protect the people’s physical health. The Text consists 67 Articles divided into 8 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Slaughter at Designated Location (II); Slaughtering and Inspection (III); Operation and Management (IV); Administration of Certificate, Stamp and Signboard (V); Legal Liabilities (VI); Supervision and Administration (VII); Supplementary Provisions (VIII).
