Abstract These Regulations, consisting of 25 Articles, aim at strengthening the wet land protection in Guangdong province. The Text sets out requirements for wet land planning and protection. The competent forestry authority of provincial people's government shall formulate wetland conservation plan of the province. The competent forestry departments of the people's government at or above the county level are responsible for the organization, coordination, guidance and supervision of wetland protection.
