This Regulation came into effect when the Act was brought into force on 1 November 2021 by GN 236/2021 (GG 7673).
Abstract

These Regulations, which are made in terms of the Access to Biological and Genetic Resources and Associated Traditional Knowledge Act (No. 2 of 2017) and to it they must refer for their interpretation, are composed of 6 Parts. After preliminary Part 1, Part 2 sets the functions of the Office, establish branch offices,regulates the establishment, by the Office, of research and development facilities.
