Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister of Health under section 15(1) of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972, prescribe, for purposes of section 2 of the Act maximum limits of seeds of poisonous plants in agricultural products (i.e. cereals, oilseeds, soya beans and rice). They also declare that these standards apply after a sifting process to clean agricultural products for human consumption.
