Abstract

This Subpart of Part 216 of the Code of Federal Regulations (Regulations governing the taking and importing of marine mammals) declares that any marine mammal or marine mammal product which is subject to the jurisdiction of the National Marine Fisheries Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Department of Commerce and is intended for importation into the United States, shall be subject to the provisions of 50 CFR part 14 (concerning importation, exportation, and transportation of wildlife). It also designates ports of entry of marine mammals and marine mammal products for purposes of that Part.
