Abstract

This Part of the Code of Federal Regulations governs the specified (incidental) taking of marine mammals such as taking of marine mammals by the U.S. navy and specified activity in a specified geographical area. letters of authorization are required for such incidental taking and monitoring, reporting and mitigation requirements prescribed.
