Fishing requires a permission of the Chiefs of the District in which the lagoon is situated and shall be carried out only in prescribed waters and in the presence of the Chief, the Assistant Chief or the District Constable. It shall be the duty of the Chief or his or her representative present to prevent the illegal removal of fish from the ponds owned by others.
