Abstract This Regulation, of Eight Sections and One Annex, establishes conditions for the collection of a financial guarantee from a transgressor waiting for a trail. Section (1) sets the limit for a financial guarantee to the maximum amount listed in Section (18) of the Ordinance. Section (2) provides with notification procedures to be operated by the Port’s Director and a notification form is reported in the Annex. Section (3) deals with guarantee payment modalities. Section (4) regards guarantee time limits. Section (5) establishes that if a transgressor has not paid the fine and cleaning expenses inflicted on him by the court, the Port’s Director can impound the guarantee sum for that purpose. Section (6) establishes that guarantee is revoked whenever fine and cleaning expenses are paid. Sections (7) and (8) give general information.
