Abstract

These Regulations make provision with respect to the importation of goats or sheep from the United States of America into Malaysia. The consignment of sheep or goats must be accompanied by the following documents: (1) import licence; (2) a certificate containing a full description or identification of the animals; (3) a veterinary certification; (4) a declaration by Master/Captain of the Ship/Aircraft by which the animals have been transported. Upon arrival in Malaysia, the animals shall be carried directly to the approved quarantine station or farm for quarantine purposes for a period of not less than 10 days under veterinary supervision (Regulation 6).
