The import licence referred to in regulation 1 is required. Furthermore, the consignment of the animals shall be accompanied by a certificate containing a full description or identification of the animals and a veterinary health certificate certifying that, inter alia: (a) the animals originate from foot and mouth disease free zones; (b) the animals have been vaccinated; (c) the animals are free from any infectious or contagious disease at the time of export.
