Abstract

The present Regulations make provision in matter of importation from Thailand into Malaysia of feeder cattle. First of all, the following documents are required: an import licence; a certificate containing a full description or identification of the animal; a veterinary health certificate for guaranteeing that the animals are healthy and wholesome; an import approval. Further provisions refer to controls to be carried out in Thailand and quarantine measures to be undertaken upon arrival of the animals in Malaysia. Moreover, Regulation 12 concern precautions to be taken in the selected farms or holding yards in Malaysia.
