Abstract

These Regulations apply to the importation of cattle from Brazil into Malaysia, for which the following documents are compulsory: (a) an import licence, to be issued by the Director General of Veterinary Services of Malaysia or by the competent State Director; (b) a certificate containing a full description or identification of the animals; (c) a veterinary health certificate so as to ensure the wholesomeness of the animals; (d) a declaration by the Captain or Master of the Ship or Aircraft. Regulation 6 regards the quarantine period to which the animals shall be subject upon arrival in Malaysia.
