Abstract

To import cattle and buffaloes from Cambodia into Malaysia a prior written approval of imports as well as the previous issuance of an import licence are required. Moreover, consignments of animals shall be accompanied by the veterinary health certificate referred to in Regulation 2. Regulation 4 deals with the quarantine measures to be undertaken upon arrival of the animals in Malaysia. Afterwards, the animals shall be slaughtered in accordance with Regulation 5. Regulation 8 lays down the measures to be undertaken in case of disease outbreak.
