Abstract

These Regulations consisting of 10 articles, establish that (i) it is prohibited to export animal products unless these have been produced in an approved plant for what concern the collection, sorting, conveyance, processing, pasteurization, disinfection, sterilization, preservation, packaging, marking and storage of the products. The procedures for the approval of the plant are dealt with in articles 3 and 4. A Veterinary Inspector will regularly report to the Director of the Veterinary Services about the consignments which he has approved for the controller's inspection. Article 7 explains in detail what concerns the inspections of animal products. The controller may approve or refuse the Animal Product for export and, in the latter case, he shall notify the Plant Owner of his action.
