Abstract

These Regulations amend the Regulations governing microbiological standards for foodstuffs and related matters in regulation 2 in relation with irradiated food: sale of such food requires the approval of the Minister or the Director-General and such approvals shall be in line with the Guidelines for Monitoring Irradiated Foodstuffs in South Africa.
