This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, and it will start applying from 1 January 2010.
Abstract

This Regulation provides for the manner of conducting the systematic checks in order to determine the presence of brown rot in potato tubers and bacterial wilt of potato and tomato, which are caused by phytopathogenic bacteria Pseudomonas solanacearum (Smith) Yabuuchi et al., previously known as Pseudomonas solanacearum (Smith) Smith, and also provides the rules to be observed in case of appearance of this harmful organism, measures to prevent the spread and aimed to suppress/eradicate this harmful organism, as well as procedures for laboratory testing for the diagnosis, detection and identification of the pest (its effective presence) on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
