Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Environment Quality Act (R.S.Q. c. Q. 2). In particular, the object of the Regulation is to establish water quality standards for the swimming pools and other artificial pools referred to in section 2, located either indoors or outdoors and operated for swimming, recreation, sports or leisure purposes. The text consists of 33 sections divided into 7 chapters as follows: Object, scope and interpretation (I); Water quality standards (II); Water quality monitoring (III); Non-compliance with water quality standards (IV); Record (V); Offences (VI); Miscellaneous (VII).
