Abstract

To reduce the volume of residual materials and facilitate reclamation by reuse, containers with a capacity exceeding 8 litres used to market water intended for human consumption must satisfy the following conditions: (1) be designed and manufactured to be refilled a number of times during their useful life for the purposes of the marketing; (2) be handled by a recovery system with a view to their reuse; and (3) bear a clear indication that they are returnable and reusable.
