In particular, its purpose is to reduce the quantity of residual materials to be eliminated by encouraging the recovery and reclamation of discarded used oils, oil or fluid containers and used filters. The Regulation applies to mineral, synthetic or vegetable oils used for lubrication, heat insulation or transfer in motorized vehicles or equipment or in the operation of hydraulic or transmission systems. Those oils include in particular the oils listed in Schedule I.
