The present Regulation enters into force on 1 May 1998.
Abstract

The present Regulation enforces the Cantonal Animal Disease Ordinance. In particular, the Ordinance sets out in details the competent authorities in the Canton responsible for the enforcement of the aforementioned Cantonal Ordinance. Article 23 establishes that livestock markets, livestock fairs and similar events need the authorization of the official veterinary of the Canton. The text consists of 39 articles divided into 5 chapters as follows: General provisions (1); Authorities and tasks (2); Marketing of animals, animal substances, semen and embryos (3); Compensation for bodies responsible for animal disease (4); Final provisions (5).
