Abstract This Regulation aims at ensuring water quality standards and technical and hygienic conditions of water intended for human consumption. This Regulation sets forth the principles and procedures of production, packaging, labeling, vending and inspection of mineral water and drinking water. This Regulation covers provisions on mineral water, drinking water and potable water. This Regulation does not cover natural mineral water, thermal and medicinal water. This Regulation is drafted in accordance with European Council Directive 98/83/EC, European Council Directive 80/777/EEC and European Council Directive 2003/40/EC.
