Tree nursery is of cultural and historical value, is an object of national patrimony. The main tasks of the tree nursery are: (a) creation and preservation of collections of living plants (including rare and endangered species) of scientific, economic and cultural importance; (b) development of scientific foundations and methods for preserving the gene pool of natural plants and cultural flora; (c) research work; and (d) environmental education in the field of botany and nature protection, ecology, plant breeding, ornamental gardening. The territory of the tree nursery is subdivided into the following zones: (a) exposition - visit is allowed only in the presence of employees of the reserve; (b) research and production (nurseries, schools, plantations, greenhouses) – the right of access shall be granted by employees of the reserve, as well as specialists of other specialized institutions by the permission of the person in charge of the tree nursery; and (c) access for economic activities shall be granted to employees and pensioners of the reserve. It is prohibited on the territory of the tree nursery: (a) stay of unauthorized persons without the permission of the administration of the reserve; and (b) any activity not related to the performance of the tasks assigned to the tree nursery and putting at risk conservation of collections.
