Abstract

This Regulation prescribes veterinary and health conditions for animal products processing facilities (slaughterhouses, meat cutting and processing, meat processing, milk production and processing, eggs, honey and other products of animal origin intended for human consumption). The Regulation is structured into seven main Chapters as follows: I-General provisions; II-Veterinary and health conditions; III-Registration of facilities; IV-Approval of facilities; V-Conditions to be met by facilities delivering small quantities of food to end consumer at the place of production; VI-Permitted maximum quantity and conditions for food processing at the place of origin (farms, beekeepers, fish farms, etc.); VII-Transitional and final provisions.
