Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on fertilizers, prescribes the rules for classification of biostimulators (fertilizers), the procedure and documents for classification of new biostimulator in a certain group, the manner of marking-labelling and identification, the content of physiologically active components and nutrients, and indicates minimum and maximum quantities of physiologically active components and nutrient in biostimulators. Depending on the composition of the elements, biostimulators are divided into: 1) biostimulators containing macro elements; 2) biostimulants containing micro elements; 3) biostimulators containing macro-micro elements. Parameters on minimum and maximum quantities of physiologically active components and nutrients and impurities in biostimulators are provided in article 7. This text is harmonized with the provisions of the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control.
