Abstract

This Regulation, as for the purposes of the Serbian Law on the recognition of varieties of agricultural plants, determines the types of agricultural plants for which additional variety tests may be performed, and prescribes the necessary methods of testing fir those plants. Additional tests of production values of varieties which are entered in the Register of varieties of agricultural plants, in the experimental field, ie in the laboratory can be performed for varieties of corn, sunflower and sugar beet. In order to further examine the variety of a certain agricultural plant, seed samples of that variety shall be submitted to the ministry responsible for agricultural affairs, for: 1) maize variety by April 1 of the current year; 2) sunflower variety by March 15 of the current year; 3) sugar beet variety by March 1 of the current year.
