Abstract Based on the provisions of Waters Act, this Regulation determines the form and method of keeping the water register, the method of forwarding documents, reporting data and access to them, and the method of determining the material costs of forwarded information. The water register is a public register and consists of: records of granted water rights; records of recorded special use of water; records of issued water consents and document collections. The water register is maintained by the Water Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia. The water register is kept in electronic form. The collection of documents is managed and kept in physical or electronic form. Article 4 sets issues regarding the record on granted water rights; article 5 is about records of recorded special use of water; article 6 regulates issues for record of issued water consents.
