This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Abstract

This Regulation sets the necessary procedure for registration application, the amount of fees and deadlines for registration in the system for environmental management and independent evaluation (also called EMAS), the content and method of keeping the EMAS registration system, and various special conditions (such as refusing registration administrative procedures, temporary or permanent deletion from the registry, incentives for organizations, EMAS system promotion, European Commission reporting, EMAS Commission's way of working).
