Abstract The aim of this Regulation of the Minister for the Environment and Spatial Planning and the Ministry of Health, which is composed of 102 articles and four Annexes, is to prevent exposure of workers and the public to ionizing radiation arising from inadequate control of radioactive sources. This Regulation establishes technical requirements for approval of radiation sources, the notification form, content of an application for a permit to carry out radiation activity and content of an application for a permit to use radiation source, the handling of radiation sources, form and manner of keeping registers on radiation activities, radiation sources and nuclear and radiation facilities.
