Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of six paragraphs and ten Annexes, establishes cases when the use of forest propagation material outside the region of origin is allowed for purposes of afforestation. These conditions are specified in Annexes from 1 to 9 for individual species of trees. The forest propagation material of specified tree species can be used outside the region of origin to set up: (1) experimental areas for reaeach or for testing the growth and development of populations, lineages and clones; (2) research areas concerning selection of forest trees and seed.
