Abstract

The present Regulation governs the use of potable water from the communal water supply systems and return of sewage to the communal sewerage system. It protects the rights of users as established by contract between the water users and supplying organization, envisages metering of water consumption, return of sewage and calculation of water charges. The population and food-processing industry shall have the priority of potable water supply. The communal sewerage system shall be destined for discharge and treatment of domestic sewage. The discharge of industrial sewage into the communal sewerage system shall be authorized in the following cases: (a) if the industrial sewage complies with the requirements set for acceptance thereof into the communal sewerage system; (b) it the acceptance capacity of the communal sewerage system is sufficient for the acceptance of the industrial sewage. Potable water supply and acceptance of sewage shall be carried out uninterruptedly if it is not otherwise envisaged by contract between the water users and supplying organization. The consumer must ensure carrying out environmental audit and environmental monitoring prior to water use for the purpose of prevention of negative environmental impact.
