Abstract

This Regulation provides for detailed technical criteria for the classification of agricultural land in categories according to effective suitability of particular land parcels (soil suitability). This text further defines the method and procedures for determining such soil suitability categories, including method of work, land valuation and calculation of assessment of soil benefits with formula, criteria and basis for evaluation and rating of agricultural land into different categories which are: valuable arable land (P1) and valuable arable land (P2). These rules are aimed at setting procedures for the correct classification of suitability of the land, all for the purpose of planning further development of agricultural production, for spatial planning, as well as for conducting various land inventories and determining data on areas and on quality of present land resources.
