Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on waste management, prescribes the manner of packaging, sets the criteria, and indicate the conditions and manner of final disposal of waste containing asbestos and provides for other specific measures aimed to prevent the release and spread of asbestos fibers and deriving asbestos dust into the environment. Measures to prevent the spread of asbestos fibers and dust into the environment are taken during the all phases and operations of collection, transport, storage, treatment and/or disposal of such asbestos waste or waste containing asbestos. The movement of asbestos waste shall be accompanied by a document on the movement of hazardous waste, in accordance with relevant national regulation.
