Abstract The Regulation determines the requirements to the treatment and transportation of wastes. The Regulation is divided into 3 Chapters, Additional Provisions and Conclusion Provisions and 6 Annexes. Chapter 1 deals with the general requirements. Chapter 2 sets the requirements to waste treatment activities. This Chapter is divided into 4 sections. Section 1 deals with the collection of industrial and hazardous wastes; Section 2 deals with the acceptance of industrial and hazardous wastes; Section 3 deals with the temporary storage; Section 4 deals with the disposal of industrial and hazardous wastes. Chapter 3 deals with the transportation of industrial and hazardous wastes requirements. All definitions are given in the Additional Provisions. Annex 1 enlists the treatment methods. Annex 2 sets the requirements to the sites, facilities and the installation for temporary storage. Annex 3 sets the limit emission values from incinerators for treatment of industrial and hazardous wastes. Annex 4 sets the requirements to the installations for physical and chemical disposal of wastes. Annex 5 gives guidelines on the example content of the written guidelines on actions in case of accident.
