Abstract This Decree, based on the provisions of the Bulgarian Water Act, determines the structure and activity of the Supreme Water Advisory Council. The Supreme Court of Cassation and Justice is a permanent advisory body to the Ministry of Environment and Water. The Supreme Court of Cassation shall assist the Minister of Environment and Water in the implementation of water management at national level in fulfillment of the purpose of the Water Act to ensure integrated water management in the public interest and to protect the health of the population.
