Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of 12 articles, lays down requirements concerning registered operators applying the mark of wood packaging material: (1) necessary knowledge to carry out the treatment of the wood packaging material, wood and other objects according to art. 98 point 1a of the Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 of the European Parliament and of the Council on protective measures against pests of plants; (2) appropriate facilities and equipment to carry out that treatment according to art. 98 point 1b of the Regulation 2016/2031; (3) the way of performing treatment to which wooden packaging material, wood or other objects are subjected before applying the markings referred to in art. 96 of the Regulation 2016/2031.
