Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Croatian Law on state survey and real estate cadastre, prescribes the content, manner of keeping and maintaining of the register of geographical names. The register of geographical names shall be kept and maintained in electronic form. The register of geographical names is the official basis for collecting, recording, processing, presenting, understanding, linking, researching and publishing various spatial data, such as the production of various maps, statistical data related to space, articles, etc, and it shall be maintained in accordance with the recommendations of the commission for standardization of geographical name.
